COVID-19

Pure Green is committed to fighting COVID-19 while protecting the health, safety, and indoor air quality of our clients. To protect our clients and employees, we have implemented measures recommended by the CDC, EPA, and WHO, including:

Monitoring Employee Health

At the beginning and end of each shift, each staff member has their temperature taken and recorded using a touchless thermometer. If an employee is found to have a fever, has tested positive for COVID-19, or is experiencing COVID-like symptoms, they will be asked to remain home and are not allowed to work. Pure Green follows the CDC Symptom-Based Strategy for allowing employees back to work, which means that an employee may only return to work after 10 days have passed. After this period, if there are no symptoms experienced, then the employee must remain fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medications for at least 3 days before returning to work.

Using Personal Protective Equipment while in your home.

To keep our staff healthy and clients safe, we have provided our crews with personal protective equipment (PPE) for each appointment. Before entering your residence or establishment, our team is outfitted with fresh cloth masks, disposable shoe coverings, and multiple pairs of gloves to be changed out as needed throughout the cleaning process. No item of PPE is reused between job sites.

Social distancing in your home.

Upon our arrival at your home, you will be asked to submit to a temperature reading by a touchless thermometer. Before we begin cleaning, we will ask you to designate a room (typically a bedroom or an office) for us to start. Once this room is cleaned, you are welcome to stay in this designated clean space while we finish cleaning the rest of the locale. We ask you to wear a mask when in the presence of our staff.

Using clean supplies, products, and cloths on each job.

All cleaning supplies, equipment, and carrying caddies are disinfected between each appointment. We only use clean and fresh cloths and mop pads on each job. Pure Green’s signature color-coded cleaning system of microfiber cloths and mop pads eliminates cross-contamination while cleaning your locale. This system ensures that cleaning cloths and mop pads are limited to one use per room and changed out frequently throughout our cleaning. We use cloths and mop pads on a one per surface and one per room basis to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Communication with our clients.

Our current clients have been notified via email of our efforts to eliminate the threat of COVID-19 within their home or office. Furthermore, all clients receive a confirmation phone call the day before a booked appointment. During the call, the Pure Green associate will:

  1. Confirm the time and location of your cleaning
  2. Determine level of potential exposure (for example, if you work remotely or out of the home)
  3. Determine if anyone in the household has had symptoms within the last 10 days
  4. Inform clients of our touchless thermometer procedures
  5. Inform clients as to what measures we are taking as a company to keep you safe

Eliminating the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Pure Green’s cleaning solutions and processes work to effectively remove the virus present on surfaces. We pay special attention to the high-touch surfaces within your space, such as doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, and more.

We also offer the following extra options to fight the spread of COVID-19 and other bacteria- and virus-borne illnesses, available for both commercial and residential clients:

Disinfecting Services.

Our routine cleaning eliminates SARS-CoV-2, but for extra protection, we offer optional disinfecting treatments on high-touch areas in your home or office. The EPA categorizes all disinfectants as pesticides, which are technically not considered “green” according to the Green Seal™ certifying agency. However, to combat COVID-19, Pure Green has employed the use of a disinfectant that kills SARS-CoV-2 and is also less toxic to health and the environment. This service meets criteria from the EPA’s List-N for effectiveness and for safer cleaning.

NEW! Electrostatic Spraying Services.

Pure Green offers our clients the latest innovation in infection control! Our electrostatic spraying services are a faster, more effective method of distributing EPA-registered disinfectants The benefit in using Electrostatic Sprayer is that the disinfection solution is atomized and produce positively charged particles that more easily attach to surfaces. This helps coat surfaces that are difficult to reach with traditional cleaning processes. Pure Green’s electrostatic spraying service, combined with our thorough green cleaning practices, follows EPA List-N and Green Seal recommendations.
